I have goat experience, but no donkey experience. My goats got along with cows and pigs, so a donkey should be no problem.

i called a feed store .they said it is touch and go.meaning the donkeys were here first and it is their home.to make the donkeys feel like the goats belong.dont know how to do that.i know when my dog got under the fence the male donk chased him full speed.the dog slid under the fence like a runner into home plate.i am going to try to get them here tomorrow so i will see .my wife has been asking me about getting a couple goats but ,didnt know where to get one.this guy has a bunch.they seem pretty cool they come right up to you no problem.one of them he is giving me is pregnant.gunna be cool to see the little ones.it was awesome when the donk had the baby.i need to get a couple pics up of the little donk she is pretty neat.
the wife will be happy if they get along .i havnt told her yet.i figured i would wait until they are here.
so now i have to build another stall .

I have goats that come and go, semi feral, with no issues. Donkeys are great livestock protectors, they just need to realize that the goats are "theirs". If it's possible for them to bond a day or so where there is no contact and conduct introductions early in the day so they can be watched, you most likely won't have problems. Goats are super playful and non-threatening so they usually blend well.
Good luck! Baby goats are my favorite animal, there is nothing cuter!

I had a buddy who had a family of goats and horses. He kept them seperate but he used to keep this one real old male horse in the same area as the goats. The horse was always peaceful to the goats but whenever the horse would wander anywhere near the little goats then the daddy goat would start messing with the horse trying to shew him away by nipping at his leg. My buddy and I were standing outside by the pen one day and the daddy goat was being a little excessively mean to the horse and then low and behold the daddy goat got kicked square in the mouth. Daddy goat wasn't to sure what to do after that. I think my buddy put up a temporary fence after that to keep them seperate. I think that as long as they have enough room to stay away from eachother than it shouldn't be a big issue. I doubt that would have happened had there not been little ones around and the fact that they were in a fairly small area at the time. If they have the space to stay away from each other from time to time then they should be ok. The horse never tried to hurt any of them, they just happened to be hanging out where all the green grass was. And he got tired of being nipped at for no good reason.
