Hang on power filters with the filter media removed are great for water flow. You can easily add 660 gph to your tank for under $70
Just curious, what HOB filter puts out that much flow and cost less than $70 ? ? ?
I know the largest Penguin and Emperor filters are 330 and 400 gpd respectively, and coast almost 40-70$ in the stores

hahah its okay... its fine now and everything survived. Cured the live rock for a while and then put it in my 40 gallon that i set up not too long after that happened.
There is a HOB filter, a tetratec pF500. I have the 300 on my 40. Put the 500 puts out 500 gph. That and a powerhead and you got it. Plus your power would be more spread out, so that would be better.
