Dottyback Disappearance

Yesterday we bought a Bicolor Dottyback. We turned our heads for not even a minute and when we looked again, it was gone. There has been no sign of it anywhere. We've taken out our live rock and looked in all of the crevices and looked EVERYWHERE possible and we can't find it anywhere. There's no way it has been eaten by another fish or a crab or anything because there wasn't enough time for that to happen without us noticing. We are completely baffled and I was wondering if anyone has any idea what could have happened. Thanks for your help!
P.S. Sorry but I'm new, not only to the board but also to keeping an aquarium. Bear with me.

glad to see it worked out for you I was going to tell you that dottybacks ar eknown for hiding .I have had mine for almost 3 1/2 years and it still hides alot.Sometimes I only see it when I feed. :happyfish
