hopefully everyone will be optimistic when 3Q numbers come out and not cause another huge sell off.. Hopefully no one is expecting great profits after this lousy year.

I may be wrong but I don't suspect there will be any consistency until there is much more clarity as to what's going on. If there's one thing the market doesn't like - it's uncertainty. If the market knew exactly what was going on and how long it was going to last, we wouldn't be this low.
Personally, I don't think the market has bottomed yet as there won't be any consistency for at least 6 months, probably 12.
That said, we did start buying a little last Friday AM. "They" are throwing the baby out with the bath water in many cases and in a few years - I think many of these prices today will be considered steals. Of course I may be wrong and in a few years some of these companies won't be around so do you homework if buying. I'd like to put more money to work but patience is imperative here IMO.

The market and the economy sucks... I know this because it has been effecting me personally. I've noticed a difference in my paycheck this year ... I work directly in business 2 business sales... But I have just learned I will be laid off in a month... And I work for AT&T which is a top 5 company.
