have narrowed it down to mh system, and from the same seller on ----. costs about the same.
any advantage of hqi vs mogul for the mh bulbs?
t5 better than vho or pc?

HQI give a better punch but they require a UV shield (tempered glass works).
I think VHO is better for corals but T5 could be better, there's just not enough info available.
All of the comparisons I see with VHO vs T5 don't compare good VHO bulbs to T5's.

If you want to compare T5 to VHO for actinic supplimentation stick with the VHO. For main lighting T5 is better as long as you stick to the HO units with the good reflectors.

alright
i plunked down some change for the following.
light housing, all inclusive package.
2x 250 mh at 10K, mogul base
4 x t5 55W actinics. 4 extra bulbs thrown in for fun.
moonlights.
shipped to me for $700
don't know if a fan is included but just in case, i got 4 2x2 4w fans, and a 11w 4x4 fan. i just need to wire them and add switches, etc.
how does that sound?
