Well mine is acutally two tanks with a 75 gal refuge all one system. I want my 175 as an inwall in my new dining room then behind it a tank/fish room with 75 gal fuge and all my pumps also a 75 or 90 gal QT tank. Then on the other side of the room an oval 500 to 800 gallon acrylic half out in my living room the other half in the fish room and it will only be 28 inches deep with a 3 to 4 inch sand bed. this would be my shark/ray tank with an eel or two as well. The 175 would be a huge reef tank. The 75 would be full of cheato and calupra. Ro/di unit set up on auto top off. This is as close to no maint as I could see it getting. You get the best of all worlds as the whole thing would be one big unit circulating through the 3 tanks. what you think????

i think having a shark/ray tank plumbed into a reef tank wouuld be a potentially bad idea. reef animals are sensitive and sharks and rays are huge waste producers.

I don't really like agressive tanks but a guy near me has a tank that is like 5000g. Floor to ceiling, about 12' long. He has sharks and stingrays. I've not seen it in person but the pics are crazy.
