dresjardini Sailfin Tang

Does anyone have one?
The swf.com description says only 1 per tank, but the Sailfin tangs descriptions says you can keep more than one.
I already have a Sailfin (very small) and wanted to get the Dresjardini for the color difference.
Feedback would be appreciated
Thanks!

I found a great deal, but I have to order today
The one I have is maybe 2 1/2" and the one I'd be getting will be about the same size

If your tank is a 90 you wont be able to keep it. They grow to sizes bigger than dinner plates so you really shouldnt even keep one.

tangs of like body shape will fight, especially in a smaller tank. If you have a 500g it could be possible, BUT even then there are problems,, I would say NO until you upgrade (HUGE upgrade)

I have one in with a yellow tang, they get along well together. They came with the tank and they're huge now. They're the ones in my pic by my name
Ps its a 170g tank

Yes, I do plan to upgrade. I'm hoping to get something at least 150 and I would really like a 200.
I do know that they require a larger tank and only got the one knowing that I would be upgrading to a larger tank. The one I have right now doesn't even like to swim around .. it clings to the PJ Cardinal as it's buddy - very odd.
Plus, I understand there are many points of view on Tangs... So don't go cutting me a new one.
I've seen tangs kept in 30gal tanks. I've also seen 5 tangs in a 120gal. I was also going by what I read on here that said the Sailfin required a 75 gal when I purchased my sailfin.
I was merely asking if anyone kept the 2 types of sailfins together. When I purchased my sailfin, he was in a tank with 2 other sailfins. I just chose the smallest one (who happened to be the prettiest) because of my tank size.

Your sailfin looks about the size of the show one that I saw at the LFS when I got mine. Mine is roughly a little bigger than a quarter.

I'm guessing from head to tail he's about 6 inches the yellow tang maybe 4 inchs, I'm hoping they don't get much bigger or already full grown.

I have a sailfin, a yellow and a lopezi in my 220. they seem to be best buds. of course they all went to the same school together.

I would say just to be on the safe side not to add the 2 sailfins together. just for the fact that their coloring and body shapes are going to be so similar to one another even tho not exact.
