Dried Seeweed Sheets??

Hi,
I noticed in a few posts you guys use the dry seweed sheets.. you can cip them or just pop them in...
how do you usually feed with that? mine never touched it in the clip and I have dropped it in , never to be seen again.. i dont know if they even ate it or what??
so do you just drop it in and they should go after it??
Thanking you kindly, Kim

HEY KIM....
I JUST POSTED THIS LAST WEEK ALSO....
WHAT I DO IS I JUST RIP OFF A 2"X6" PIECE AND
JUST DROP IT IN....THEY GO CRAZY FOR IT....
THE FIRST FEW TIMES THEY DIDNT, BUT NOW IT
LOOKS LIKE A SHARK FEEDING FRENZY....
AT FIRST I PUT IT ON A CLIP AND IT STAYED THERE
FOR 1 SECOND AND THEY PULLED IT OFF....
REGARDS...

Another option is to attach the nori to a small piece of LR with a rubber band. Drop to the bottom and watch them eat. To the fish it is just like grazing from the rocks in nature. Should work for you.
Good Luck!

I try to hold it in the water for just a minute and then rub...to kind of break it up a bit...it softens up better and my fish go crazy over it...even the lion will take a piece once in a while...lol

Why not just use a lettice clip? Clip it in and stick it to the side of the tank.

Why have you lost so many fish? I hope you are not just doing the trial and error method? Hopefully you've taken a step back anf figured out what you've been doing wrong before proceeding. I would suggest you pause, go slowly and read allot.

I like to take a piece about 2X6 and roll it up.. seems to stay in the clip better and they don't just yank it out.

Flame,
My big problem is trying to rid my tank of ICH..... It has been a LONG road to say the least. I cannot treat my main tank cuz of inverts and LR & LS.... I have done the greenix thing, QT thing... fishless tank thing but never waited long enough I guess....
So, now I AM in the process of clearing my main tank of ICH by NOT adding anymore fish for at least 5 or 6 weeks.. Only IF the 2 in there keep showing NO signs of ICH.. if they do, I will have to wait it out longer.. I dont want to stress those 2 out by trying to catch them and put them in a small QT....
I think alot of my mistakes were buying fish that were not in the LFS tanks long enough....They went from being caught, shipped, and acclimated to HIS tanks then I bought them within 2 days... I have learned my lesson now!!! If I like a fish, he will hold it for me in his tanks so we can assure thier health. Also, I have lost a few of them IN QT... so lesson learned.
I do have a spiny box in my QT waiting for his main tank home.. some day!! But i absolutley agree with you!!!! Thank you for your advise.. Very good advise........ I dont mind hearing critism from anyone who had been doing this for a long time..... you know better than me!
Thanking you kindly, Kim

OK but you will have to remove your current fish population from the display tank and leave it for 5-6 weeks. If you keep the fish in the tank, you are allowing the ich to find a host and it will still be present in the tank even if it is not visable to the eye.
One lesson learned....always...always Q your fish for at least 3 weeks before adding to display tank. Keep posting BEFORE taking any action and we will help you along. No more deaths...please. Good luck.
