drifting anemone

Any reason why my anemone would detach and begin to float in the tank ... it's fully open and the tentacles are full and it's just spinning around ??

Don't move him around.......you can stress and kill him.

Mine moved every day for a week. He found his spot in my blue ribbon coral, when he is half inflated he is in the current. He grew to about 14inches across, then split one night three months ago,now the twins are next to each other, original nem has been in this spot for almost a year now. Both are now about 9 inches across when full open.

do you have covers on the intakes of your power heads

no but i need to get them now, he just got stuck on the intake of the power head so i turned that one off so he could get off of it.
