drilling a hole through glass

how long should it take to drill a hole through 3/8" aquarium glass? How hard should i be pushing? Thanks.

How big is the hole?

1 3/4". I was about 1/2 way through when the water reservoir i had set up gave way. it's loud! I was applying pressure in 'pulses'.

I had a thread going on how to drill a tank, look it up - you could make a dam with some plumber's puddy to finish of the hole - it shouldn't take more than a minute to drill as long as you have a lot of cooling water.

I'm using a rubber seal calked to the tank. i'm letting the calk dry some now. A minute seems fast. Thanks.

I have drilled many holes if you have a lot of water it goes fast and safe.

I'm through. That was kind of harrowing the first time. It ended up kind of breaking through at the end. The 'core' has a really sharp collar on the bottom side.

That happens you have to go really slow at the end. Search for my thread the jig I made makes it really easy. I don't know how to insert a thread?
