Drilling a tank??

What equipment is needed to drill a tank? I have ported cylinder heads, aluminum and cast iron as well as plenty of other hands-on activities. I have a 10 gallon I could practice on until I get it right. Just curious about the tools as well as where to purchase.
I have a stand up air compressor with an 80gallon tank so air tools would be a low cost investment for me. The LFS wants waaayyyy too much money to drill a tank.

This is not something I have done but I will tell you that my girlfriend has managed a glass shop for 10 years. People that bring them tanks to drill are always done at their own risk. About 30% of the tanks shatter in the process so great luck and be careful.

Hey Rane do a search for diamond drill bits. Expect to pay $50 for a 1 3/4" diameter one.
