well i got the call at 3 am last night. my older brother thinkin im the fish police. his tank was powerless no water movement. a drunk driver aparently ramed a power line on his block. AND FLED THE SCENE! it caused the death of 2 of his cleaner shrimps. anthia, pygymy, and lots of snails. and a few corals. now we spent 800$ on a generator and stuff......darn you drunk driverS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just venting hehehe because ive been up since 3am.

Is this now a murder investigation or are we talking man(fish)slaughter or what??

that stinks!! If another power outage happens you can whisk your tank every 1/2 hour or so. We were out of power for about 14 hours last summer and everything made it through. You can also purchase battery operated pumps (cheap) just to get you through. Now the ice storm that caused a 5 day power outage and subzero weather we had in January is a different story.

. but its more like damage to property. aint it? but the police are investigating because he fled the scene.

Buy a battery back-up. For under $50, you could get a few hours of flow time, without having to crank up the generator.
