LPS does not benefit directly from phytoplankton. Pods, feather dusters, and critters do. When you add excess phyto, you are just going to have to clean the glass.

this is correct but the rotifer population in your tank does, they can be eaten by LPS and SPS.

'U' guys using DT are missing the boat buy not growing your own Phyto. Is so easy a kindergarden kid can do it.

i read this site he recommended. its seems to be pretty easy going by this.

What the chances I could talk you into creating a thread on how to set up to grow your own phyto, I think it would be a good addition to the archives, and we wouldn't be reffering people to other sites if the info was here.

yeah create a thread to grow your own and we'll think about it, I'm sure alot of people here want to know how..I personallly don't use phyto that much, If it were to benefit every single creature in reef then i would be all over it..
