speaking of bulbs ::whislte:: where does one find a pair that wont cost more then the ballast

I believe SWF.com doesn't sell bulbs so it is safe to say I bought mine from oceanencounter.com for $79. I don't think you will find a pair for less than what you paid for the ballast. Good luck!!

What are the differences in these. I'm in the market for lights. found some nice prices at
