Agreed. How bout the Dodgeball Ban in some schools? Stupid

Now that IS THE most stupid rule ever and I was just about to post that one. Apparently kids today are so violent or administrators think that a game of DB will some how mame, kill or turn DB players into little Dodge Ball assassins. Even if you get hit in the head with a DB, the soft rubber and low psi of the ball will only make a goofy resonance sound which adds to the thrill of the game.

That's how my school is. No PDA whatsoever; I'm honestly suprised we can still make eye contact

Last year two kids were caught fornicating on the stairs during lunch, so this year, all the teachers are in full force.
I understand that ^, but come on..
Dodgeball
We never had dodgeball at my school, which was disappointing because I am really good at it

less hugging and more learning.
kids are too soft these days.
I remember when my 4th grade teacher gave the paddle to my best friend... I tried so hard to be good because I didn't want the paddle. Now, I'm not condoning corporal punishment, but it's definitely interesting to remember back to those days (this was only 20 years ago), and how people complain about no hugging today.

Ok, everyone has given/ received a hug... right? well how do you think it would be to have a rule of no hugging anyone at your school? welcome to my school.
.
Is it an actual rule written somewhere? I would ask to see it and if it isn't there put up some grief. If it is a written rule and not some administrators opinion, then yes that is a little too far. However, you have to ask yourself is it worth the grief to fight this and bring more unwanted attention to yourself?

I go to a catholic school so we have tons of rules of corse
... I was apparently *flirting* with my best friend who had a boyfriend at the time. The teachers pulled us both out of class and told us that we were "flirting" with each other, and that they knew that we were in love and all, but we didnt need to show it in school
. We were talking!!! I guess if a guy has a friend that is a girl that is flirting these days!

I thought it was funny so I was laughing. They then decided to "take action" and seperate us up into different classes and have different lunch times, and we had nothing together.
So she was leaving the school later that year and I hugged her and said goodbuy. The teachers then decided to pick on me for hugging someone who I said I wasn't going out with! (Like that is unherd of!)
At my school we can't hold hands, kiss, hug, give gifts (because it is unfair
and they don't need to know who likes who), and no touching each other (not even a bump in the sholder to be funny.)
I hate my schools rules.

Oh, I dont know, back when I was in HS I was trying to get with any and every female I could. Chances are, if I was talking to a girl there was a good chance that I wanted to get into her pants

I guess I am different.
lol We were just friends.
I had girlfriend (not her) at the time though, and she had a boyfriend(not me) so we understood that it was not a "serious realtionship".
