Duncan Question.

I have a beautiful single headed Duncan mounted on a plug. I have seen multiple head Duncans and my question is will my Duncan ever become more than one headed or is there something I can do to encourage it to do so? Right now it is sitting in the middle of the tank and not near any other rocks.
Thanks in advance.

i found with my duncan if you take a pipet filled with a mix (what i use) cyclop-eez, mysis, daphnia, baby brine. just rub the center of the ducan and when it starts to close gently squirt the mix in the polyp. As the polyp starts to close it will hold the food inside and not blow away. In a mater of two months one polyp has sprouted four heads. I feed it every other day. Now it has heads all around the rim of the mother polyp.
Just my way of feeding and speeding up the growth

i bought one wisker coral 6 months ago. I feed it every 3 or 4 days. After a month of having it a new head showed up. A few weeks later another 4 showed up. NOw i have 10 new heads growing right now. Here is a pic of it.

SO what do Duncans look like when they make babies. Mine has been in this weird tangle of limbs all day, so I am wondering if that is that they are doing... Thanks

I dont know if duncans like having babies but its a sign that your tank is doing good. Once i learn how to speak duncanish i'll let you know...jk...:)

You will see smaller heads begin to pop out at the top of the stalk just below the mother's head. After a week or so, you should start seeing tentacles.

If they're fed a lot, they typically grow very quickly.

Hmm.. do you have any close-ups of a head and are you currently fragging / selling?
