Duncans Galore....

Hi:
About 8 months ago, i bought a single headed Duncan attached to a plug. He now has about 6 more heads. My question is, will the base ever get bigger than the one stalk, or will it spread out to multiple bases?
Should I move him to a piece of Rock or just leave it OR cut the plug bottom off and glue the flat part to a rock.
Any advice would be appreciated.

u need to cut the stalk if u want to spread it.
