Duster question

I have three feather dusters, all of which have been doing fine for some time now...One of them has now stopped coming out for some reason...Is this normal...He has been missing for about three days now...should I worry?
Oh yeah, water conditions are perfect (or pretty darn close)..

sometimes they lose their crown,if the worm is ok it should grow a new one. do you have anything in your tank that could be bothering it?

I have just a clean up crew that may be picking on it...I have been watching it, though, and havent seen anything bothering him...I have heard that Blue legs sometimes bother them, but havent been able to catch one in the act...

Mine vanished for about three days and I thought he was dead for sure. Then he showed back up a bit smaller with new feathers. I've read they do this often. Keep us posted!

Just wanted to update everyone---THE DUSTER IS FINE!!! Took him about a week and a half to come back out, but now he is healthy and happy (a little smaller though).
