Thanks!
Out of all my fish, I think these 2 are my fav's. They are always together, and from what I hear about fuzzy dwarf lions, are very active... Especially around feeding times.

this answers a question I just posted. two in one tank. I just bought a tiny lionfish he is really dark my larger lionfish was like one inch away from him hovering in front of where he was hiding in the rocks. I didnt know if he was being protective or if he was sizing him up for dinner

Exactly what happened when I brought my second one home... The larger one had been in the tank already and kind of watched the new one for a couple days... They never showed any agression towards one another at all.
What are you feeding yours? Mine both had to be started out on live ghost shrimp. To get them switched over, I soaked the live ghost shrimp in selcon and eventually tried krill soaked in selcon. Tried to get the foods to "smell" similar so they would recognize non-live food. Now they will take just about anything I put in there including flakes. When i use a different food from what they have eaten in the past, soaking it in selcon works like a charm!

Thank you!
They are both in a 44 pentagon with a tiger jawfish and some inverts. I'm moving in a month or two here, and may decide to bump them up to a 60 hex. Would be nice to give them a bit more room, and also can limit the number of tanks that I'll have to move with me... Dont' have any full tank shots, but will try to snap a couple more pics in a week or two...

another pic... Just added a 175 watt 10,000k blueline MH pendant light... still trying to get used to how blue my tank looks... It isn't nearly as bright as the last bulb I had, so the lions should be a little happier without compromising the health of my corals (shrooms & zoos) or mangrove trees.

I've had good luck thus far... when researching, I got the idea that some species (fuzzies and Volitans) do better in pairs or groups than others (zebras)... Some people on this board have had success keeping multiple species together, something I would like to try once I get a larger tank... I always like to have a QT tank set up just incase...

Might take a couple days for him to get used to his new home... Both of mine ate live ghost shrimp the day after I put them in... Just be sure the bigger one doesn't get all of them before the new one gets a chance...
Selcon is a food suppliment with unsaturated fatty acids, lipids, vitamin C and vitamin B12. I usually soak frozen food for 15-20 minutes once a week before feeding. It has a very strong "smell" so fish are usually very attracted to it.
good luck getting the little one to eat... if you can, take some pictures!
