Didn't check yet...I will tomorrow and let you know. I gotta go, the work day is officially over and I need to run to the LFS to grab a couple peppermint shrimp, to take care of the aptasia I discovered in my seahorse tank last night.

Ok, next time I go I will count the rings and check out the snout length next time. He does know they are captive bred and before I buy a pony I am going to ask them to feed them

Yeah. Have him feed them at the store for sure. You are doing everything right it seems.
A great source for chaeto is coralgroher on ----. I have bought from him twice since the first delivery was so fast and so nice. The bidding is currently starting at 1 cent.
I definitely recommend this guy.

yeah... long story short, "saltwater aquariums for dummies" didn't really touch on the "cycle", so when i added my LR, i was like WTF's going on??? My ammonia, nitrates, and nitrites were all off the charts for weeks... i mean, literally off the charts (the tests were darker than any color on the comparison chart...)
Nothing survived. I might get some LR from the LFS, just to get some hitchikers, and get a pod population going...

You could ask them for a cup full of sand with pods...that is what I did in one of my tanks..got it for a buck.

jdragunas: sounds like your live rock wasn't cycled. When you add uncycled live rock to a tank it screws it all up and starts it recycling. Uncycled live rock you have to put in a bucket of saltwater, scrub it, aerate it circulate it and cycle it separately, or it will screw up everything...Yeah, I did this, it was one of my many blunders. You can buy "cycled" live rock usually, its a bit more expensive.
