Do zebra lions eat skunk cleaners or peppermint shrimp?

Yes, they do. There are certainly exceptions to the rule, but shrimp is part of their natural diet.

you dont have to have shrimp for a reef set up. They are nice to have but not 100% needed. Hermits do a clean up job just fine

the Dwarf Zebra in my tank does not bother the perpermints of the skunk cleaners, only engulfs the ghost shrimp that I place in the tank for him to eat, however each fish has their own personality. However, most fish do recognize a cleaner species as a benefit for them, not neccessarily a meal.

I do plan on trying peps out when I get my lion but I'm nervous about the cleaners because they are so much more expensive. We will see though...
