dying elegance coral

My tank has been doing very well other corals (leathers, hammers, torch) all doing great. I purchased a large elegance coral. For days it was doing great opening and spreading beautifully. Suddenly, the day before yesterday, it stared releasing what looks like "stuff" from it, and it is slowly retracting and not opening very much at all. Don't know what to do or what caused it. Anybody have any thoughts?

From another site:
"Elegance will occasionally withdraw their tentacles and inflate their bodies into a contorted shape. This may be in an effort to expel waste products and should not be a cause for concern. If they remain like this for more than a couple of days, it may be a sign that they are not happy for some reason and you should investigate water conditions and verify that nothing is attacking the coral."
And if I remember correctly...I think the Elegance Coral is a hard one to keep....but I'll leave that comment to the experts.

My LFS wouldnt sell me one because of the difficult to keep factor. I guess he would have sold it but he warned me well.
