I have heard conflicting info on the feeding of echinos. I have read both yes they need to eat, and no, they don't. Some describe long sweeper/feeders that the coral will send out at night, but mine does not do this. Even looked one night when I was up at 3am, and no tenticles were out.
Although my echino does have a visible, and fairly large mouth, I cant seem to get it to 'eat' anything. Could it be a species that does not need targeted feeding, or is there some special feeding technique I should try?
Thanks for any help.
