Ecosystem specific tank?

Since I got my tank, I have been thinking about starting another setup that is specific to the marine life of the Pacific Northwest US. It would likely be a 125g tank that I do it in. Because the water is significantly cooler up here, I know a chiller would be a main piece of equipment, but right now I am just considering the idea of doing it. I was wondering if anyone on here has built a setup similar to this, and if there were any ideas about possible problems I have not thought of yet.
Since this is still just an idea in its infantile stages, I would love advice on species that are readily available, as well as any other thoughts you all might have.
Thanks

the main thing is the chiller. as for fish you can get a Garibaldi(aggressive and large) i dont know what can go with it. there are not too many fish that you can get from the Pacific Northwest US. i would just collect.

That is kind of what I was thinking - I don't mind doing some diving to get some specimens in the slightest - actually I don't mind doing some diving regardless of what for :)
Right now I have been looking at the spiny Lumpsucker, black eye goby, speckeled sanddab (cool flat fish that blends into the sand) for fish, some native gorgonians, pink hydrocoral, maybe a few hydroids, etc as well as the normal inverts (hermits, snails, etc)
Anyone have any experience with this type of livestock?
