eel blenny

I just got this eel blenny last night and I don't know what he eats. Does anybody know anything about these guys.Oh yea btw this morning when i woke up I counldn't find him and looked around for awhile then I saw his head poping out the sand. :help:

Cool fish. I'd suggest a yahoo search, or calling the LFS you bought it from and ask them what it was eating.

I believe the common name for these are fang toothed blennys.
I would search thru fishbase or the burgess atlas and see if you can find a match

i still haven't found anything on this fish nor am i sure what its excat name is.hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.:notsure:

Check out www.fishbase.org and start with the identification section. From your pic I can't see the dorsal fin structure real well but it looks more like a goby than a blenny from your pic. you might want to look closely at the sharknose and neon gobies.

I'm guilty of a few impulse buys myself. You know, go into the store with no intention of buying anything and bam, walk out with a cool fish. That's a neat looking blennie for sure!

ANYWAYS YEA IT COOL SO I HAD TO GET IT. I'LL TAKE ANOTHER PIC OF IT BECAUSE YOU CANT SEE THE TAIL, THE TAIL LOOKS PRETTY COOL.

almost forgot its common name is a wormfish not as cool as eel blenny hahhaha and its not a blenny or goby:thinking:
