EEL brething with one gill??

i just recently had a tank problem that killed all my fish (exept for my eel)
he is brething only with one gill, i no its bad
what can i do to help him or will he be like this forever

How did your tank crash? How long has the eel been doing this? All I can say is soak his food in vitamins and feed him healthy things. Keep watching him. Who knows maybe he mutated and soon he will start to kill everything.

crashed yesterday due to copper overdose
he keeps twitching to ??

NOT GOOD :scared: Eels are extremely ensitive to copper! Do you have copper running the tank? The little guy should make it through, eels are very hard to kill. Run some copper and do a good water change.

i am guessing the lfs wouldnt take it aquaria?
