Let me re-phrase...
I don't want to take out a second

[hr]
to be able to purchase this eel.
:D
I was thinking Tesselata (sp?), but have yet to really look around at pics. I figured i'd ask people's opinions here first.
There's some kind of wolf eel that's actually a goby of some sort? It's green with a wolfish head... lfs had one sold once.
Anyone know anything about this fish?
Thanks.
Peace,
Chip

i had a wolf eel for about 6 months in a 30 gal.
he was a very hardy eel always had his head out waiting for food they only get about 12 inches
they are really dottybacks and a great addtion
p.s. they will jump out the tank if not covered properly when i went to my grandmaw funeral mine dove stright out the tank and now no more eel <img src="graemlins//uhuh.gif" border="0" alt="[U-Huh]" />

the tess is very aggressive keep that in mind, but if you could aford it i would go with the dragon get a mexican if you cant afford the hawaiian. also you could try the blue ribbon very pretty eel but also very hard to get to eat
good luck
ps my friend has had his ribbon for 2 yrs now but i think he is just lucky

Zebra Morays are kinda trick. Mines about 3 feet and has never tried to climb out of my uncovered tank....knock on wood....I haven't seen very many in the lfs either. He won't touch any of my fish...eats strickly frozen shrimp and krill
