Eel with an Abscess?

I have a Fimbrated Eel that seems to have some type of abscess inside its mouth. It is right at the front of the lower jaw. Is anyone familiar with anything like this. I'm pretty new to this and not sure what it is or what to do.
Thanks

Nothing new in the tank...the only thing he has been eating are smelt and a few prawns. He has an emp angel, humu trigger, S&S puffer and blue hippo and sailfin tangs as tankmates (all small). It is a fairly new tank (about two months) and I am getting a pretty strong brown algae bloom right now, but otherwise everything seems really stable.
Unfortunately, I can't find the charger for my camera so I'm unable to post pics right now.
