There are different types of Wolf eels...the green wolf eel is not a real eel, it's a member of the goby family..if you look it has fins. I saw one the other day at the LFS and the fins is what gave it away as not a real eel.
Although he didn't specify what type of eel, i just assumed he meant green wolf as it is small.
theer are 2 different specie of wolf eel neither being a true moray none being of the goby family but that of the blenny family.though one species is much smaller than the other the larger of the 2 being thought to be a true moray is still classified as blenny not a memeber of moray family in fish base
