Just as a side note, the porky puffer can get up to 2 feet in length. You won't be able to keep it in a 75 gallon for life.

what i ment by that i want to get a eel that can spend its whole life in the tank and get along wiith the puffer i already have a tank for the puffer when its full grown but i would like to keep it i the 75 until it grows a lttle mor rigt now it is at 5 inches so are there any eels that can live in a 75 gal for life and get along with a porcupine puffer

pork puffers can get up to 2 feet in the wild, but only reach 6in in captivity just a side note, but you'll be fine for a while in the 75 try to get the puffer into a 125 sometime in the near future but I've had mine for two years and he's full grown topped out at a whopping 6 inches

That's not completely true, yours may have topped out at 6" but there are plenty of people who have them that get to be 10-12". I agree, 2 feet is kinda an exageration from what I've heard, but they definitely can get over six inches. However, I also agree that a 125 will do him good, even at 10-12 inches

I gotta agree with tucker. I've seen porks exceed 6" on many occasions.

yes they def. can and I wasn't saything that all will stay at 6in and never change, some will get alittle large, maybe to a foot, but a 125 is def. a perfect size for one of these fish.

yes i know that pokys are capable of geting big but i a also know that it will be fine in a 75 gal if not defenitly for a while and when and if it grows out of the 75 gal i have a larger tank for it but all i want is a list of eels that could go in the 75 gal tank for life and that would get along with the puffer.
