eels

does anyone know how to calculate eels when figuring out how many gallons per inch of fish for the tank capacity? is it the same? if so, wouldn't that then mean eels take up way more room than fish?

that rule really doesn't apply to saltwater fish...each fish has it's own space requirements based on its size, messiness, and also available swimming room it requires...

The rule is 1 inch per 5 gal. With the eel it's different because they tend to stay in there dens until feeding, so you don't need as much space just make sure you have a good place for them to hide.
