What should I use to cut the egg crates??? An how far should I hang my flousent lights above the egg cratees

If its pc just a couple inchs. Mine are 1'' off my top

If you are using standard flourescents you can just put them right on the eggcrate. If its power compacts or T5's they should be a few inches above it.
