eheim wet/dry

i am thinking of running a 2nd reef tank using the the eheim wet/dry filter. anyone out there using it currently? dont wanna invest $200 on a filter that might not be good.

ive got an amircale brand. its a nice filter if you are willing to take care of it (clean out bioballs, change pre-filter/ floss). i have it on my 45 gallon FOWLR, but that tank currently has no fish in it and is coming down as soon as i can break it down. if i was you, i would save the money and buy a nice skimmer and as much live rock as possible.

I run the Eheim Wet/Dry on my 46 gallon, I also used it on my 90 gallon. . It seems to work well. The best part about it is that is super low maintenance, you just rinse the efhisubstrat media with clean saltwater every 6 months. Otherwise you just let it run...
