Eibl's Dwarf Angel's not eating - for two weeks!

It seems that my Eibl's Dwarf Angelfish has not been eating any frozen brine shrimps and various flake foods ever since I bought him two weeks ago.
He seems contented eating only algae of the live rocks. Algae's almost gone now...
Is there any alternative I can do to feed him a varied diet?

Sorry to hear he's not eating. I've got one too. At first he liked brine, but now he usually won't eat it. Luckily mine likes the flake and some slow sinking morsels that I've got. You could try some Seaweed Selects. I put a chunk in the tank and he nibbles on it all day long. Maybe try lettuce also, I've heard they like that too but I've never tryed it. If you can get him to eat anything like that soak it in ZOE I've also never used it but I've heard it's got all the good nutrients and stuff in it.

What's your tank setup? They are much shier than most other dwarf angels and they need plenty of shelter to hide away in. Once they have that and they've spent some time in the rocks peeking out for a week or so making sure the coast is clear, they'll venture out and start eating a lot more comfortably. In the first week that's how mine acted, picking at the algae on the sides of the tank in closest reach from his rocky hideout. Then slowly he came for brine and even flake food. Now, 2 months down the road, he dominates the tank striding up and down the front and inspecting his rocky hideouts to make sure nobody else dare take them. Wish you luck, they're great little fish that just need an extra bit of privacy before they feel confident enough to come out and show themselves off. Let us know how you get on!
