Well, I came home from work today and EVERYTHING in my tank is dead. My clocks were blinking so I know the power went out. Needless to say, my tank got hot.....92 degrees when I looked at it. This really sux!!!!!!

No clue what caused it. I am going to do a 50% water change in about 10 minutes.
I was planning on heading your way this Saturday to come up to Aquarilease and buy a fish or two. I live in Midland. It's only a 1.5 hour drive for me.

Man, I am sorry to hear that. That bites. I got the same scare today. My neighbor called me at work and let me know that our power was out because she knows about my 2 saltwater tanks.
Rushed home, grabbed the generator and hooked them both up. I swear, it was the best $400 I ever spent.
Hopefully things will be better on your new inhabitants.

Yeah it really sux. I pulled 30 gallons out, it's a 55 gallon so I pulled more than 50%. I figured it couldn't hurt anything.
All of my readings are fine, except for the ammonia. Dead fish and stuff would cause that I guess. ;) I sure hope my green star polyps make it. The section I have is about 15 inches across. It was sweeeeet! I will keep everyone updated.

Hmmmmmm. I got everything back up and running, and low and behold......my powerhead doesnt work now. Could it have shorted out and fried everything??????? I know we had a power dip hear because all of the clocks were blinking when I walked in from work. It was a maxi-jet 1200. Anyone ever had problems with these???????
