Elephant ear pics

Can you show me your elephant ear pics? I have one but it never opens like a regular mushroom. It basically expands and drapes itself over the rocks. I wonder if the current or light is too strong.

It looks perfectly normal to me. Be careful with that coral..they have a substance that will lure fish into them...then they eat them.

Isn't mine a Rhodactis mussoides which is safe unlike the Amplexidiscus?

The Rhodactis ones eat fish too as far as I have heard.

Wax...since you seem to know about these guys...what does it mean when it looses it's dimples, turns a ilttle purple and kinda pinching himeself into a figure 8...it's been about 2 weeks now...I think it's splitting...any help is apprciated!

It might be, but I'd guess it is getting more light than it wants. My shrooms "pucker" when they have too much light.
