My clown has taken to hosting my cyano. I know it's bad, you don't need to make it MORE obvoius by dancing in and out of it.

HI njbeacher!
Your not the only one with a red face..

A month ago mine was hosting not just a cyano patch, but a nice crop of both red & green hair algae.
Even the blenny was rolling his eyes.... I am embarrassed too...

I am going to swallow my pride & post the pics.... I have gotten the problem under control this month.. I should post my before & after pics somewhere...
Blessings! Birdmom

I am so glad you had pictures. My wife noticed the cyano behind the rock and decided to help me out by cleaning it up. The clown is now eye-balling my Xenia.

In the end I am thinking that cleaning up the cyano & hair algae was bad for the clown.. Shortly after the pic was taken the clown pictured was moved to a different tank. He has now become so agressive & mean & I kinda feel bad. I think he loved it too much..

I just bought a maroon gold striped clown yesterday and I must say clowns are some magnificent creatures.I can watch my clown all day he has one heck of a personality(well I guess it would be more like a fishality
.Was that funny? ) .And on top of that he has to be one of the most beautiful fish someone can add to thier tank.Just curious what size is your tank and what other type of fish are you keeping?
