I've got a couple that we call "king kong"...both are rather large and try to be aggressive....they'll pose and try to act mean whenever anything or anybody gets too close......kewl creatures....

how big do they get

I've rarely seen them larger than a silver dollar.....most are around a fifty cent piece sized.

Thanks guys! Yeah, I've never seen one with a shell much bigger than a quarter. I've got a few of them in the tank, but they seem to keep their distance from each other.

lol awsome pic yosemite when them crabs do that they crack me up i get some of mine fighting over a piece of food its like wwf going on in a saltwater tank they are also like dang body builders lifting rock etc i had one that kept knocking over some of my frags and went to grab him and he would do that what you have in your pic...lol
