Emerald crab & coral??

I have some green bubble algea in tank and was told to buy an emerald crab (which I did today) IS HE REEF SAFE???? He has been on top of green star polyp coral.

Yes. emeralds are reef safe, I highly recomend them.
They will feed off the algae etc.
Do not feed them(or try to). Let them do their job, ;)

I purchased 3 of them the other day and they are great. They are very reef safe and do a really good job on bubble and other nasty algea.

I love my'n.They constantly eat algea.And I would'nt worry about your star poylps.One of my emeralds stays on top of my stars.

Theyll eat your snails though, esp if you have turbo snails because they are bigger and there is more to grab so be careful on that.

THANX guys, This is just what I wanted to hear. When I dropped him in and he went straight to my coral I panniced. Glad it was for no reason.

(if it weren't for this board he'd probably be in an ant bed)
