Emerald crab death! was it pregnant?

Hello I had 2 emerald crabs. 1 is alive still but the other was just found dead on it's back with it's stomach open and full of little orange balls. Has anyone seen this before or know what it could be? Do these crabs even breed in captivity. :notsure:

sounds like eggs, and i bet that was not her first batch because almost everynight something in my tank is releasing fry but i dont have anything to show for it because most fry are attracted to the light so even if they make it though the night once the light goes on and all the fish start coming out the fry all swim up to the surface and most of them are swallowed into my overflow and the rest are eaten

hmm interesting i wish i could have seen it hatch or lay the eggs. I wonder why it suddenly died...
