I noticed yesterday that my emerald crab is missing about half of the prehensile portion of his larger claw. He didn't seem to be particularly bothered by this, he was just going about his business and scraping algae with his good claw. I guess I'm more worried about it than he is! How could this have happened? Does this happen often to crabs? Will his claw regenerate?
