Emerald Crab Question

Has anyone else had a problem with Emerald's eating their Coraline? We've had two do this now, wondering if our tank is just too clean for them.

I had one before.... but it didn't eat my coraline. It did scower the green algae off my liverock and make it almost look white. It did die eventually from starvation though, so I would put some nori or something in there for him to eat.

So, you think if I add like 2 to my list of snails and such, that would be a good idea? I dont want them to starve if they wont eat the red slime algae. That's my BIGGEST problem right now.
