emerald crab

my emerald crab is turn white in some areas and i dont know what its from. :help: please

mine was doin the same thing. after i looked at him it was a hole in his shell. i think from a pistol shrimp. but he recovered.he did have other ones, im not sure what the white spots are from but mine had them for about 1 month. hes still living. so i dont think its a big deal/

i dont have a pistol shrimp and its not only in one area its almost covering 70% of his body..
so then does tht make it a molt??? im confused :help:

mine turn whitish before they molt. Shouldnt be anything to worry about

let me see if i have the same thing. my emerald has white spots that look like wax(?) on one sid of his body and on some of its legs.
same thing????
