Emerald crabs mating? Possibility..IDK

I don't know if they mate..how they mate, if its a boy or girl lol, but I just put these in my tank. They were stuck together like this when I pulled them out of the bag to acclimate them, then I seperated them when I put them in my tank and now there back on top of each other..Are they mating or just playing?

I had a mating pair... It is very obvious when it is happening and done very fast as well...watch to see if the female opens up on her bottom half in the next few days and starts "shaking out" eggs or larvae or whatever.... my fish would go crazy when my little female would do this..pretty cool

Haha I know right...I clean it, then it all comes back the next day..its crazy..I just put my clean up crew in there and they are taking care of some of it..hopefully it clears up soon!
