Emerald crabs what a pain!!!

Well i think iam done with having them in my tank they do more bad then good...They are now picking all the nice coralline of my show rock they picked it off all my clams shells i just cant grow it fast enuff as they pick it away and as well they knock over everything corals etc...

I know how you feel...I'm not a fan of emeralds. I had one that took apart and killed a nice acro last fall, and continued to rampage until I removed it.

Cant really say I've been over impressed with the emeralds I've had in the past. Bout the time one of em was pickin on one of my acros we'd be seeing how it faired out in the street:notsure:

Sorry to hear about your rowdy crabs. My Emeralds were not destructive, but they both died last week. Everything else in the tank is fine. What would cause this? Thanx.

Thanx, what is molting? Is this when they shed their shell like a snake shedding its skin? I'm kinda new at this.

I haven't had any problem with my emerald crab so far I've seen it only eatting algae off the rock but not the coralline but those small starfish is eatting my coralline off the rocks.

My electric blue crab has come out of its shell. What the heck is going on?
