emerald crabs

I thought I was going to learn about emerald crabs in this thread, but instead I learned new feeding techniques. I knew I joined this forum for a reason. Never know what your going to learn day to day.

Do you have any alge in your tank? I believe they get and kkep their coloring from the algae they eat.

Ah, but is your emerald crab eating it? Are you sure it's even algae?

I have 2 of these crabs in my tank and one turned white last week and then I thought it had died but just molted and shed his skin. This might be what is happening to yours. Keep an eye out for the skin and make sure it is finished and remove the old skin.
