Emerald crabs

Could someone tell me what emerald crabs are sensitive to? I had 4 in my 29 gallon tank and have lost 3 of them. They had been in there for a while, and seemed to be doing well. I've tested regularly, and the ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and ph levels are all fine. Help?

What's your salinity. From what I've heard invertebrates are very sensititive to salinity changes.

It is very possible that their is not enough food for 4 emeralds in your tank & they died.

Did you test for copper? Did you use any different water source?

Were the emeralds that died white when you took them out? I had 1 emerald crab for a year, he just recently died...I think he starved because he was very pale white...I noticed that several of the emeralds at the LFS that have been there a while are also green...I think its a lack of food...
There are not things in your tank that just feed themselves. Everything needs the food yuo put in the tank...if they are not getting any they will starve...thats my experiance

I hand feed mine SeaWeed Selects-Green Marine Algea...they love it!
