Emergency Help with Stray Voltage

I ran my lights all day today and i belive in my 30 gal..new setup i had stray voltag becasue i acclimated my royal gramma to it yesterday and within 1 hour the fish passed...it had no spots on it and it looked perfect i noticed it was breathing heavily from the gills like it looked like it was going to expload..i tried putting in some stress coat but that didn't help..I had no idea what or why the fish could've died..so i'm assuming the only reason is stray volatge this is a new light cf 130 watts it came with mounting legs put i just put the light on directly about 1/2 inch from the water esting on the middle bar of the tank...there was salt buildup on the middle bar so i only think it could be stray voltage I removed the lighting for now from the tank...the question is the light was on all day today is there still stray voltage in my tank ? or once u shut the light oof ur ok to put new fish in there ?? also I had a sponge in this tank as well for a week and when i got the lights they were on and the sponge isnt dead would stary voltage kill a sponge ? this issue needs to be addressed quickly so i'm hoping for some help and answers..
thank you.

alot of people cant keep this fish, but I dont think its stray voltage if its not bothering your other fish or inverts. How long did you acclimate?

I forgot to ask this, but what is the temperature in the tank? It's almost sounding like it's a lack of oxygen.

the temp is 79F what gets oxygen in a tank ? the levels are impecable absolutely perfect...i have 1 maxi jet 1200 in the tank i can increase oxygen by turning the tube on top closed or open slightly..i dont know what the oxygen is but the specific gravity is 35 and sal. is 1.026 can u explain what you mean by oxygen what would give it oxygen and how do i know if there is oxygen in there or not ?
than you

If your temperature had been a lot higher (even probably 85), that would deplete oxygen from the water and you'll see fish acting like they are having shortness of breath... heavy breathing.

IMO you need to qa all fish min of 3week but most will say like 4-6 weeks.
Most Bacteria is not in the water.
Did you use old sand and l/r this is were most of the Bacteria are.
IMO the tank is not set up and cycled intell spike and all lvl come back down.
And 2weeks in not going to do it with fish going down in that time (IMO only).

i did a ph test with an expired fast test kit it read 7.4 they came from a tank at 8.2 for 5 months thats why it died imho...i added ph buffer to increase it to 8.0 hopefully the basslet in there makes it...as far as cycle this water was from my 120 all 55 gallons of it the levels of this water was spot on i dont know what caused the drop in ph but i made a mistake hopefully they recover. i put in 1 basslet after checking the levels with red sea but i was out of ph so i used fast test and i realized after it was expired and read 8.0 but then i got a dif. ph test i think api and it read 7.4...i'm praying thanks.

Adding the water from a old tank to a new one does not cycle the new tank. Bacteria is not in the water column. It is in the filtration, rock and sand.
I would keep an eye on your levels and be ready to do some water changes.

i did many water changes small ones just to make sure it was a bad batch of salt or an innaccurate reading on an expired test kit that did me in..i work on these tanks for hours and hours a day and i dont sleep at night i have insomnia so if i did a bad test wioth an expired kit mistakes can happen when ur working 10 hours on tanks...
ialso put in established rock and sand...
