someone said that its just the stresscoat (aloe vera) that i put into the tank and that the skimmer is going mad

Okay i know it is a emergency but calm down now unpluge the skimmer and take it out of there and put it out side until it stops.How much water came out? Do you have a water level ajuster? If you do lower it immeadetly!

Do you want to provide more detials, or just let us keep guess until we get what the problem is? Is it actually leaking due to housing rupture? Or just overskimming?

its leaking cause of overskimming. I dont have a water adjuster, but it took out about 3 collection cup fills out. I'm guessing its becuase of the stress coat i put in the tank to calm the new fish down. Think i should wait till tommorow? I will it skrew up my skimmer more if i wait? :notsure:

Is there an option for adjusting the intake into the skimmer? If not, you can certainly use carbon for a few days if you have a carbon filter handy. Otherwise, just do a water change.

Yes, stresscoat will make a skimmer go crazy and thats about all it does. Youll just have to keep an eye on it and empty the cup often untill it all gets skimmed out. Just unplug it when your not around.
Drain fittings are cool.
