NO it could be pooping
Is it firm to the touch? If it's disintegrating anywhere but through the mouth, then get it out asap. If it has like cob-web looking stuff coming out of it's mouth then it's just pooping.
Poop would not be white. It could be a male or it could be releasing a bacteria infection. If it is the latter, then survival chances will be slim at best. Monitor closely and watch for deterioration.
White and stringy is bad. Have you checked your tank for amonia? What kind of anemone is it? How long have you had it? Looks like a mag.
How is it doing this morning?
is the white foggy area in the last pic remnants of the "white stringy stuff"? if so, it looks as if its possibly spawning. Either way, I dont see anything wrong with that anemone (H.crispa) to make me believe that it is almost dead. Not a good enough pic to judge its healthiness, but definitely not almost dead.
it died. it had lots of stringy stuff comeing out of its mouth. i think it was its guts.
i really dont know how it happened %%
i turned the lights off for about 3 days to remove some red slime and after i turned the lights on this is how it looked. and it had been turned inside out. b4 this happened i had NO nitrate but now its kinda went up a little. but luckily no ammonia.
